The recently released iPhone 14 phone line attracted a lot of attention with its latest display cutout or the feature they call Dynamic Island.
While this is a feature limited to the Pro model line, now they've added a cutout that's smaller than the display cutout on previous iPhones, and the most impressive thing is how they've matched it with iOS.
Somehow, the theme developers of Xiaomi Mi have managed to add this feature to the Android operating system. TechDroider's Viabhav Jain revealed on his Twitter account that this theme would hide the phone's pin-hole camera as well. They have named it Grumpy UI.
That is, as Apple did before, this is a hardware barrier and support for the software.
However, this theme is still under review and if it gets permission from Xiaomi, it will be added to the MIUI theme store.
As it often happens in the smartphone world, it is common for other manufacturers to add the features of one manufacturer to their models, so it should be remembered that manufacturers such as Samsung and Xiaomi may also include this feature directly in their models.
Xiaomi has officially announced that the much awaited Xiaomi 12 series will have a global launch on March 15th. The launch event will start at 8pm Chinese time and will be streamed live on various media including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook as well as Xiaomi's own website.
Although Xiaomi has not revealed the models that will affect the global turf, we expect the company to release the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X. All three models were launched in China. There is also no chance of launching the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The latest rumor is that the 12 Ultra has been delayed and will arrive in 2022 Q2.
The more compact Xiaomi 12 mini is also likely to join the global Xiaomi 12 series lineup.
The camera setup of the Xiaomi 12 series will be a major marketing point for the global version of the smartphone, as they will feature an excellent rear and front camera setup. The theme for the March 15 release date is "Master every scene". You will also be able to see an interesting set of cameras. All three models in the lineup come with a 50MP rear camera combined with telephoto and ultra-wide sensors for a great camera system.
All three global models of Xiaomi 12 Series come with Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Powered by Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the 12X has Snapdragon 870.
There is no mention of the price yet. But there are rumors that the Xiaomi 12 Series will start at € 600-700 for the basic 12X model in the EU, and it is reported that the Xiaomi 12 will retail for € 899. The top-of-the-line Xiaomi 12 Pro is said to start at 1,099. If these speculative prices are anything to go by, there is stiff competition for the Xiaomi 12 Series.
Launched in 2014, the Mi Band lineup has become one of the best-selling fitness bands in the world, with Xiaomi adding new features to the new Mi Band that is released every year.
Magical Unicorn has revealed that he did this by checking the firmware and resources files of the Mi Band. Thus, the upcoming Mi Band 7 will go one step further and offer an even bigger display, including Always On Display support, Built-in GPS, Smart Alarm, and many more.
The Mi Band 7 leak reveals that the Mi Band 7 goes by the code name "L66" and goes by the model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1. It has a slightly larger screen with a resolution of 192 x 490, supports an Always-on display for several Watch Faces, and has a variety of workouts from Aerobics to Zumba.
It also features built-in GPS support for the Mi Band 7. However, at the moment we can not believe it, because the leaked firmware for the Mi Band 6 also suggested that it supports built-in GPS, but the final product did not come with that feature. In addition, the Mi Band 7 includes a Smart Alarm feature that automatically wakes you up to 30 minutes before bedtime. Finally, it is mentioned that the Mi Band 7 may also include a new power-saving mode to improve battery life.
