According to  Variety, The Hazelight Studios, the indie developer was behind the action-adventure game is It Takes Two. it is working with dj2 Entertainment to adapt the title for movies and television. the Screenwriters are ready to adapt the game but have not yet added a studio or network to the project. Screenwriters are Pat Casey and Josh Miller, and the Hedgehog.

"Creating the world and story of It Takes Two was a lot of fun for me and the team," Hazelight founder Joseph Fairs told Variety. "Powerful narration with many crazy characters and crazy cooperative action opportunities, as well as the potential for great adaptation to film or television."

In fact, Fars began his career as a filmmaker, first focusing on sports with the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and A Way Out. His latest sport, It Takes Two, tells the story of May and Cody, a struggling couple going through a divorce process. The two of them have magically transformed into dolls created by their daughter Rose, who must work together to return to their human bodies. When a couple faces unexpected enemies such as a vacuum cleaner and toolbox, they should also resolve their differences with a mustache-therapeutic book that bends over backward to save their relationship.

Sources of diversity say the project is currently the subject of a bidding war for the right to adapt. In addition to the Sonic the Hedgehog sequence, dj2 Entertainment also provides animated adaptations of Tomb Raider for Netflix, as well as live-action TV shows on Disco Elysium and Life Is Strange.
